I was browsing the web for a new computer and stumbled along compusa.com. When Compusa filed for bankruptcy I figured that the whole company went down but not according to the website. The website states that compusa was bought out by Systemax and also joined by TigerDirect. I started to browse through Compusa and I was really surprised by their low prices. I have purchased many items from compusa.com and am really happy with their prices and customer service. The first item purchased was a 1GB USB thumb drive for $7.99 which was the lowest price I found on the Internet. The second item I bought from was a 28inch I-INC LCD Monitor for $299.99 which was also the lowest price on the Internet that I found.

I would recommend signing up to the email newsletter because compusa has great weekly specials. Compusa.com also has another great feature that you can buy packages of computer parts containing motherboard, CPU, hard drive, case, and ram memory in order to build your computer. If you are considering buying some new electronics check out compusa in your search for the best bargains.

I was searching the internet for firefox plugins when I came accross a website Gadget Advisor. They have an article about Best Extentions for Firefox. This list is massive and comes with a description of all the plugins, although some of these plugins I already knew about such as Adblock Plus and Download Status Bar, but then there are many that are useful that I didn’t know about such as IE View Lite, which allows the user to enter a website in firefox, but under IE mode, because some sites only work on IE, and vice versa, and this add-on makes it really easy to switch. So I sticked around on the site to see other posts and read about the MSI x58 Eclipse Motherboard, and another post about the Blaze Media Pro review. What I am trying to say is that how you can stumble upon to a great website by just searching for one small thing and find a great blog, I will definitely be adding Gadget Advisor to my RSS reader.

He lists a plasma tv of all things which costs $3500. Now tell what college student has $3500 floating around for a plasma tv? So I found a rebuttal to his list made up by a great blogger, Derek Punsalan of 5thityone. On his list you can check out a more reasonable college list of necessities, including a Macbook, things for the dorm, a mini fridge which can always come in handy for all that beer and left over pizza. And many other more reasonable items for the average college student.

It does a download test and an upload test, and it even saves information from previous test to compare speeds, from different cities or time of the test taken.

When I took the test my download speed was 4785kbps, and upload was 360 kbps, which is pretty good for a cable modem.

Today was the first day of the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference(WWDC), and Apple announced their new lineup of the highend Workstation the Mac Pro, which has two 2.66GHz Dual-Core intel Xeon processors, and adds up to be a very powerful 5.3GHz proccessor, and only starts at $2,499, and can also be upgraded to a Dual-Core 3GHz, for a 6GHz processor, which is just insane.

The second thing Apple announced was that their new OS Leopard will come out in the Spring of 07, and is now available to preview on there web site. Some of the cool new features of OS X Leopard is the “Time Machine”, which is kind of like Microsoft’s System Restore, where if you accidentally delete an important file you can go back to the state in which everything worked fine and that file was still on your system. To check out all the new features of the new Mac OS X Leopard, go to the apple website, and more on the new Mac Pro Workstation.

payperpost.com is a new site that promotes other blogs, it also pays you to review other site, doesn’t have to be a positive or a negative review. The amount they pay you depends on the type of post. I think this is a great way to create a buzz about other sites and even your own, through the word of mouth, well in this case word of blog. And you get paid to do it, although some people might not like to make money promoting other people’s blogs on their own blog, it doesn’t even have to be a positive post, not that I’m sure of, it could be negative and still will get visitors, because of the talk over it.

Final thoughts
I think that this is great for everyone, because the advertisers get popularity and the bloggers get money, although keep your posts honest, and make your point across about the blog. Great site worth a click.
