I have the iPhone and while I really like my phone, there are a couple things that really annoy me. First, I would love if I could hav ethe iPhone on the Verizon network. ATT is good for the most part, but here are lots of dead spots where the service will cut out even for just a few seconds, it is annoyong. The other thing I dont like is that the web browsing is kind of slow. Its supposed to be faster with the Iphone 3Gs, which came out aobut 2 months after I got my phone so I could not justify buying the new phone when I had just dont mine.

I also have both phones, the blackberry 8900 (new curve) and an unlocked iPhone first gen... I bought the blackberry because my iPhone was bricked, meaning it re-locked, so I bought the new curve. A few weeks later I was able to unlock my iPhone again. Now I'm back to using the iPhone as my primary phone. The main reason is because of the app store, it is just WAY bigger than all the others combined (blackberry app store, android app store, palm, etc...). However that doesn't mean that the curve is bad, my favorite app on my blackberry is the gmail app, an app which the iPhone does not have as a standalone app, you need to open up the internet to view your gmail with the iphone, which is a drawback. Also the blackberry curve has a great 3.2MP camera.

A tie? Booo! Hssss!

Kidding. :)

No, seriously, great article. It all comes down to what phone fits a person's needs needs. Everyone's got different priorities. For me, it comes down to "how fast can I google this thing that just popped in my head?". And the iPhone's huge touchscreen makes mobile internet browsing pretty decent... Far better than any other phone I've tested thus far. And I've been thru alot of them.
