I started receiving more traffic from live recently. Could that be something to do with the changes? You never know.

I per my knowledge, Microsoft is the best organization in the software field, not because they perform well, but because they have tacts and ideas which are keeping them alive, that is because they know exactly when and what user need. So, if they are coming in this section of internet then there might be some revolution they can bring. But I am curious what they have in mind. Lets see if they bring some new things here, Because the Google is a great search engine till the time where you can find everything, they have enough technology, Waiting to see who wins the race.

It seems now everybody is trying to compete with the massive Google, although I really like the new ASK.com, which has a lot of new features included in your search results.

MSN is wise to accommodate their loyal users with the change. While my procession of search engines is usually Google, Yahoo!, then MSN; Microsoft is climbing the list.

Great article!

P.S. I'm loving the new layout.

The new layout looks 100 times better than the original blue-bar style. It now looks even sexier than Google. I am still sticking with Google for my main search engine choice though. This is probably second though.

Well its hard to compete against google specially.Yahoo uses Dmoz directories for the ranking and some advertising and quite less pagerank algos. So in order to succed MSN has to look at the public web site directories. And they need to have diffrent approach for the pagerank algos.

BTW nice post.
