If you are one of the type of people thats always looking for that killer deal to save some money, and find that one item you have been looking for, this article will point you in the right direction. I will review the most useful sites where you can find that killer deal.

PriceGrabber.com

PriceGrabber lets you find all sorts of products, through many different ways. For example you can search for an item through the ratings the users gave it, which makes it easy to view the popularity of each product. PriceGrabber also lets you find your item through the bottomline price which basically means the price you will pay for the product with shipping and tax included. I searched for a Casio Exilim EX-S500 Digital Camera, the results came back for the least amount which is $260 with tax and shipping, which is a pretty good deal.

Shopping.com

Shopping.com is a huge online comparison site, with very detailed user ratings, which can be extremely helpful for potential buyers of the product. One thing I found better with this site compared to price grabber, is the search capabilites are a little easier to navigate for a particular product, with much more stores in their inventory.

StealDeals.net

Stealdeals is a great site which lists all the great deals on the web. They update it daily with all types of products, with discounts or big rebates, or even sometimes some freebies like magazine subscribtions, or free samples. This site is worth a click.

TechBargains.com

Similar to stealdeals.net, but don’t be fooled by the name it’s not only for tech deals you can find a variety of different type of deals throughouth this site. I found a 2 gigabyte sandisk flash drive for only $34.99, can’t beat that deal.

Newegg.com

One of the greatest online store for all tech products, great user reviews on items. The best prices you can find, and some of the best shipping rates ever. Their shipping is usually no more than $5, if not free, and usually arives within a day or two. Have some great deals weakly. I ordered a dvd write drive for $60 came the next day, awesome service, thats what makes newegg, a great online store.

Ebay

When all else fails come to Ebay, here you will obviously find anything you are looking for. Even for all those obscure things that you want, from some weird t-shirt, or some collectable items, and tech items. You can find great deals on ipods for prices you wouldnt find anywhere, might be used though. But be careful who you buy from, make sure they have a decent feedback score, and check their reviews.

That’s a pretty generic list there of mostly comparison shopping engines and leaves out a lot of the big “deal” sites.

I could rattle off a list of deal/coupon sites if you like and there are a few sites of note that integrate many of the places you mentioned into one site so that you don’t need to go site-hopping as much.

SecretPrices.com is a good example. It uses Shopping.com in combination with Amazon and integrated deals/coupons like those mentioned above all in one clean easy to use interface. Everything is very straight forward and I don’t have to obsessively check a million different sites like I used to, haha.

BTW, I agree that NewEgg rocks! Other online retailers could take a major cue from them.

Hope you’ll continue with these reviews! Saving money has become an obsession of mine as well as a necessity, haha.

DealTaker has all the best deals on the web. The deals aren’t all techie like most of the other deals sites.
One of your overlooked areas is Coupons. at http://www.dealtaker.com/coupons.html, there is the most up-to-date and thorough coupon listing around.

DealScans is another new site that is great. It features an automatic scanner which searches for price drops at many popular stores (amazon, bestbuy, circuitcity, newegg, etc).

There is also an OutletScanner application for Dell outlet. The application automatically grabs systems with the parameters that you have specified and keeps them in your cart for you. It is much faster and easier than the Proxomitron method!

All those sites are helpful, BUT…

It’s all about combining all of the sites to get SIGNIFICANT deals.

First, you go to a comparison site like http://www.pricegrabber.com to find the cheapest price and most reliable site.

Then, you go to a cash back website to get big savings. If you go to a good one (like Extrabux at http://www.extrabux.com) it’ll have coupons too. If not…

The next step is to go to a coupon provider such as, like BossDigger mentioned, http://www.dealtaker.com/coupons.html.

And that’s it! You’ll save A LOT of money.

I like the http://www.dealunion.com, which is another great site for you to digg tou the best bargains.
Usually i also use the pricegrabber to compare the price of the same item.

    Thanks so much!
