Yahoo! has acquired Meedio, a ” leading developer of customizable software for digital home entertainment and control.”
Meedio offers several products among which are Meedio Essentials which is an all in one multimedia system. Another is Meedio TV which lets you pause, rewind, and record live analog TV. Third is the Meedio HouesBot which is a home automation server that allows you to monitor and control your lights, appliances, A/V equipment, and other devices using customizable graphic interfaces for PCs, touchscreens, TVs, and PDAs.
